Led complete migration from deprecated Shopify Script Editor to modern Shopify Functions before hard deprecation cutoff.
The Challenge
A Shopify Plus operator had complex checkout logic in the deprecated Script Editor — custom discounts, cart validation, and cart transformation rules spread across multiple stores. Shopify's hard deprecation deadline created an urgent migration requirement.
The Solution
Audited all Script Editor logic, rebuilt as Shopify Functions (Wasm/JS) with merchant-configurable settings via a Remix + Polaris admin UI. Built Checkout UI Extensions for the frontend logic and a Theme App Extension for storefront-level rules.
