Built a multi-store returns processing system handling 1,000+ return requests daily across 4 regional storefronts.
The Challenge
Wanderers Travel Co. operated 4 regional Shopify stores (.com / .co / .eu / .uk) with no centralized returns system. Customers had to email support, creating a backlog and poor post-purchase experience.
The Solution
Built a custom multi-store Shopify app using Laravel + React with a merchant dashboard for real-time tracking, one-click approvals, PayPal & store credit refunds, and StarshipIt shipping integration. Customers could initiate returns without an account — just their order details.
